Travel links my many interests and passions: I am an avid cook, constantly expanding my spice collection and recipes through travel. My history interests and readings have exploded as I constantly discover new areas and eras.
I've photographed many lands, from Antarctica to Zambia, including Nepal, Iran, Syria, Morocco, Russia and Central Asia, Egypt, Turkey, India, Burma, China and Europe.
My images range from Alaska and Canada through the US and Mexico to Peru, Chile and Argentina. But there are always new places to see or old favorites to revisit.
My favorite images are candids of people in their everyday life. These are the reasons I do photography, so professional and leisure activities merge - the ability to also sell images means I can finance that next trip!
