The Client:
Unicum an Expo, Congress/Events, Multimedia and Graphic Visualization organization, wants to make a special, interesting and staggering presentation on a fair for Meneba a Dutch special flour producer.

The Idea:
Meneba had a new product, that would give bakers the freedom to let their flour rise at the moment and in the time they want it and still deliver a top quality loaf. In the middle of winter the agency Unicum, that produced the presentation at a fair in the RAI exhibition centre, needed a summer beach panorama of the Dutch coast at a high resolution.  The print size would be 13,5 meters long and the canvas print would be hung in a circle.

The Execution:
The panorama negative was scanned in the highest resolution possible resulting in a 750 Mb Tif file. This would be printed on a special translucent canvas.
At the floor they needed a circular picture, taken from above in a bakery. The photographer was asked to make that picture as well and he made that one in their test bakery. Bakers would enter the panorama at one end,  could take a look around and were told the idea of the new system and left though the opposite side. To enhance the illusion a few 3 dimensional objects were added.

Photographer:

Jan van der Woning, made the panorama with negative film with a Roundshot 220 VR as it is the only way to get a very high resolution and a very lively subject with people and all the action.
