Hanoi Old Quarter One Pillar Pagoda
360 Panorama. One of Hanoi's most well known landmarks is the thousand year old - One Pillar Pagoda. It was destroyed by the French in 1954 but was rebuilt by the Vietnamese government. Shaped like a lotus blossom which is the Buddhist symbol of enlightenment. It is wooden and sits on a stone pillar that represents the stalk of the lotus flower. This image is cropped. A 360x180 degree spherical panorama is also available for interactive 360VR Flash, Java, OpenGL or Quicktime VR media viewers. |
